The front camera's Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor is engineered for low-light environments — delivering brighter, clearer footage at night, including license plates and road signs in near-darkness. The rear camera records at 1080p FHD @ 30FPS with a 137° wide-angle view for complete rear coverage.
Built-In Wi-Fi & BlackVue App
Access your footage wirelessly without ever removing the SD card. Connect your smartphone directly to the dash cam via built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and use the BlackVue App (iOS & Android) to view a live feed, adjust settings, and download clips on the go. Note: this model connects via direct Wi-Fi only — it is not cloud-enabled.
Intelligent Parking Mode with Voltage Protection
Your vehicle stays protected 24/7. When the ignition turns off, the DR590X-2CH automatically activates parking mode — using its built-in G-sensor and motion detection to monitor for impacts and movement. The included hardwiring cable connects to your fuse panel for constant power, and built-in voltage protection automatically shuts down the cam if battery voltage drops too low — no dead battery risk.
Optional External GPS
Add speed and location data to your recordings with the optional external GPS receiver (sold separately). GPS data is embedded directly onto footage and can be visualized on a map in the BlackVue Viewer for Mac and PC — invaluable for insurance claims and legal disputes.
