Unlike other 4K dash cams that use a standard sensor on the rear, the Elite 10 equips Sony STARVIS 2 on both front and rear — the IMX678 (8.29MP) up front and the IMX675 on the rear. Both cameras record in 4K UHD HDR @ 30FPS at 3840×2160 resolution, with HDR automatically balancing bright highlights and dark shadows for perfectly exposed footage in any lighting condition. License plates are readable even at high speeds or in near-darkness, front and rear.

Battery drain is no longer a concern. The Elite 10 features an ultra-efficient parking mode that consumes less than 1mA in standby — a fraction of what conventional parking modes draw. The camera enters a deep sleep and wakes instantly on impact via the built-in G-sensor, records the event, then returns to standby. Add the optional BlackVue CM100G LTE Module to unlock BlackVue Cloud — remote live view of both cameras, instant push notifications on impacts, and remote video playback from your phone or computer. With a SIM inserted, the Elite 10 also functions as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 5 devices. Even without LTE, the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi enables fast local footage downloads via the BlackVue App.
