Upgradeable to 2CH: Add a Rear Camera Anytime

Unlike most single-channel dash cams that lock you into front-only recording permanently, the Elite 8 1CH has a dedicated rear camera port built in. Start with front-only protection today and add a rear unit at any time to unlock full dual-channel HDR coverage — front and rear — without replacing your main unit. It’s the most flexible entry point in the BlackVue Elite lineup.

Sub-1mA Power Saving Parking Mode

The Elite 8 features the same ultra-efficient parking mode found in the flagship Elite 10 — consuming less than 1mA in standby. The camera sleeps until the built-in G-sensor detects an impact, then wakes instantly to record the event and returns to standby. Your vehicle is protected for weeks without draining your battery. Also supports Motion Detection and Time Lapse modes. For extended coverage, pair with the BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8 Battery Pack.

BlackVue Cloud & Dual-Band Wi-Fi

The Elite 8 is compatible with the optional BlackVue CM100G LTE Module for full BlackVue Cloud access — remote live view, instant push notifications on impacts, and automatic cloud backup. Even without LTE, the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac, 2.4/5GHz) connects to your phone for fast local footage downloads and settings changes via the BlackVue App.

Dual-Band GPS + GLONASS & 1TB Storage

Built-in dual-band GPS + GLONASS embeds precise speed and location data directly onto footage for indisputable insurance and legal evidence. Supports microSD cards up to 1TB for weeks of 2K driving history before loop overwrite. A 64GB MicroSD card is included so you can start recording immediately.
