Supercapacitor Design for Extreme Climate Durability

The U3000 Pro uses a supercapacitor instead of a lithium-ion battery — handling extreme temperature swings far better and extending the camera’s lifespan in hot or cold climates. Thermal sensors automatically power down the camera if temperatures exceed safe limits, then resume operation once cooled.

The U3000 Pro supports two optional expansion accessories via its expansion port (one at a time):
