The A119 Mini 2 records in 2K QHD (2560×1440) @ 60FPS via a 5MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor with a 140° field of view. The 60FPS frame rate reduces motion blur significantly compared to standard 30FPS dash cams — making license plates and fast-moving vehicles sharper and more readable. The Sony STARVIS 2 sensor delivers a 78dB dynamic range in a single exposure — substantially higher than the previous STARVIS generation — for enhanced contrast and detail across a wider range of lighting conditions.
Multi-Exposure HDR + Super Night Vision 2.0
Multi-exposure HDR automatically balances highlights and shadows during challenging lighting transitions — from bright sunlight to shaded tunnels — preserving detail in both extremes simultaneously. Super Night Vision 2.0 leverages the STARVIS 2 sensor’s highest sensitivity and lowest noise characteristics to brighten dark scenes while keeping pedestrians, road signs, and license plates clearly readable in low-light conditions. Intelligent Voice Controls — VIOFO’s First
The A119 Mini 2 is VIOFO’s first dash cam with built-in voice controls — a hands-free way to operate the camera without taking your eyes off the road. Voice commands let you start/stop recording, take photos, and toggle Wi-Fi on/off. Voice Notifications keep you informed about storage status, recording modes, feature changes, and video protection status — no need to look at the screen. Dual-Band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) + Built-In GPS
Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) delivers up to 4x faster data transfer than 2.4GHz-only connections — making downloading and sharing large 2K video files fast and seamless via the VIOFO smartphone app (iOS & Android). Built-in GPS embeds precise speed and location data onto every clip for insurance documentation and route logging.
Parking Mode — Three Options for Every Situation
The A119 Mini 2 supports three parking mode options to guard your vehicle when you’re away:
- Auto Event Detection (Buffered) — automatically records when movement or impacts are detected, with footage captured before and after the event
- Time Lapse — continuous low-frame-rate recording to reduce file size while maintaining full coverage
- Low Bitrate Mode — records audio and video normally at high compression for extended recording times (e.g., overnight recording without overwriting the previous day’s footage)

512GB Max SD — Double Previous VIOFO Models
