The VIOFO A329S 1CH brings the full performance of the A329S platform into a focused single-channel forward-facing dash cam — with no channel trade-offs. Unlike the A329S 2CH and 3CH where 60FPS requires single-channel mode, the A329S 1CH always records at 4K UHD 60FPS. The front camera uses the 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 (1/1.8", F1.8, 140° FOV) — the same flagship sensor as the front camera in every A329S model — delivering the highest resolution and smoothest frame rate available in a single-camera dash cam. Multi-Exposure HDR, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0 wired transfer, Bluetooth voice control, external SSD support up to 4TB, five parking modes, and a CPL filter included.
4K UHD 60FPS — Always On, No Compromises
The A329S 1CH is the cleanest way to get 4K UHD (3840×2160) @ 60FPS from the A329S platform. With only one camera to power, the processor dedicates its full resources to the front channel — delivering maximum resolution and frame rate simultaneously with no thermal throttling or mode switching required. At 60FPS:
- Motion blur is dramatically reduced vs 30FPS — fast-moving license plates, road signs, and vehicles stay sharp in every frame at highway speeds
- Incident footage holds up frame-by-frame — quick lane changes, sudden braking, and collision sequences are captured with twice the temporal resolution of 30FPS cameras
- 4K 30FPS also available when you want to enable HDR or reduce file size without sacrificing 4K resolution

Multi-Exposure HDR + Sony STARVIS 2 Low-Light Performance
The A329S 1CH features Multi-Exposure HDR — a more advanced HDR implementation than standard single-exposure HDR — automatically balancing bright headlights against dark shadows for legible license plates and road detail in challenging lighting. The IMX678’s large 1/1.8" sensor and F1.8 aperture capture significantly more light than smaller sensors, delivering clean, low-noise footage in dim parking garages, rain, nighttime city driving, and tunnel transitions.
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) + USB 3.0 — Two Fast Transfer Options
The A329S 1CH offers two high-speed methods to get footage off the camera:
- Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4GHz + 5GHz): Wireless download via the VIOFO app (iOS & Android) — faster and more stable than the Wi-Fi 5 in the A229 series. Stand next to the car and pull 4K 60FPS clips to your phone in seconds without removing the SD card
- USB 3.0 port: Wired direct connection for maximum transfer speed — move large 4K video files off the camera quickly for archiving, sharing with insurers, or firmware updates
Wi-Fi 6 is backward compatible with older smartphones; a Wi-Fi 6 capable device is recommended for maximum wireless transfer speeds.
External SSD up to 4TB + 512GB microSD
The A329S 1CH supports portable external SSD storage up to 4TB via USB-C. At 4K 60FPS bitrates, a 4TB SSD stores weeks of continuous footage without looping over older recordings — ideal for long road trips, rideshare drivers, and anyone who needs extended retention without managing cards. Also accepts a microSD card up to 512GB for flexible standalone or dual-storage use.

When hardwired (hardwiring kit sold separately), the A329S 1CH offers five parking surveillance modes:
- Hybrid Parking Recording — continuously monitors for motion and impacts, recording events in real time with intelligent buffered capture
- Low Power Impact Detection — ultra-low power standby; wakes in approximately 2 seconds on collision impact and records a 1-minute clip
- Auto Event Detection — motion and G-sensor triggered recording
- Time-Lapse — continuous low-frame-rate recording for extended coverage
- Low Bitrate Recording — continuous audio and video at high compression for overnight coverage
Built-in Bluetooth enables wireless voice control — issue commands like “Take Photo,” “Lock the Video,” or “Start Recording” hands-free. Audio notifications confirm status changes without requiring you to look at the screen.
H.265 Encoding + CPL Filter + Dual Type-C Charger Included
Records in H.265 (.MP4) — the most efficient codec available, delivering significantly smaller file sizes than H.264 at equivalent quality, which is especially important at 4K 60FPS bitrates. The CPL filter for the front camera is included, reducing windshield glare and dashboard reflections for cleaner daytime footage. The included dual Type-C car charger powers the dash cam while simultaneously fast-charging a second device.
