The VIOFO A229 Pro 3CH is the most complete dash cam system in the A229 lineup — delivering all-around vehicle coverage across three channels simultaneously. The front uses the 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 for 4K UHD (3840×2160) @ 30FPS, the rear uses the 5MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 for 2K QHD (2560×1440) @ 30FPS, and the interior uses a dedicated Sony STARVIS IMX307 IR camera for 1080P @ 30FPS cabin recording without overexposure. Triple-channel HDR, built-in quad-mode GPS, dual-band 5GHz Wi-Fi, offline voice controls in 6 languages, and a CPL filter included. Unlike standard interior cameras that wash out in bright sunlight or go dark at night, the IR camera uses infrared illumination to maintain consistent, usable cabin footage in all lighting conditions — critical for rideshare documentation and fleet liability protection.
Triple-Channel HDR + Super Night Vision 2.0 — All 3 Cameras
HDR is active on all three channels simultaneously — front, rear, and interior — automatically balancing exposure across each camera independently. The front and rear benefit from Super Night Vision 2.0 via their Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, delivering the highest sensitivity and lowest noise in dark environments. CPL Filter Included + 2.4" LCD + 512GB Max SD

Supports microSD cards up to 512GB — use a high-endurance card rated for dash cam use to handle the sustained write demands of simultaneous triple-channel recording.
